A: 11:30am – Gathering at the Lincoln Memorial Plaza
12:00pm – Prayer March begins from the Lincoln Memorial Plaza. This site has access to bus drop-off from the south and access to the Metro (subway) from the north.
A: The route is around 1.8 miles. It will start at the Lincoln Memorial and end at the U.S. Capitol.
A: Approximately 2 hours
A: Yes, this is a free event open to the public
A: Participants are expected to follow applicable health and safety protocols, including the use of social distancing and a face mask, while in public and to monitor government orders that may impact travel. Anyone with symptoms consistent with COVID-19 should refrain from participating in person.
A: The Prayer March will take place rain or shine. Exceptions would be extreme weather conditions.
A: Public Restrooms will be available along the Prayer March route.
A: No food or beverage will be provided. Prepare with your own water and snacks.
A: Parking downtown and around the National Mall is limited, therefore we encourage the use of public transit.
